Testing on animals ... a topic which after all these years is still taboo. Why? I honestly do not know.
Or maybe I know ... I can guess it in my own case. A few years ago I heard about the problem of using animals for research purposes, but I did not take it to my heart. Honestly, I did not get interested in it at all. For next years I have been buying things, totally unaware of how many animals I kill at the time ... Yes, by buying products tested on animals we are killing.
Why did I suddenly get interested? By accident. I saw the advert of The Body Shop, which was encouraged to sign petitions against animal tests.
It came to me then that this cruel practice still exists.
I searched a little in the Internet, I read, I looked and everything I found was a shock to me. I saw the image of all these poor animals and it stuck in my mind. I was crying and I'm still crying over the life of these animals
However, I will not change anything if I do not change my habits. I will not change anything if I do not start talking about it. So, I'm talking. I do not know how many people will reach. Maybe up to 10, maybe up to 100. And maybe it will only reach you, and you will pass it on. And that's what I want the most. I want you to get involved and commit as much as I do. Let us fight for these animals together. Together, we can do more!
This post contains only a list of companies testing and non-testing on animals. In the next post I will try to put more information about this problem and some alternatives.
