So, fashion..

Why has it been so loud about this fashion for decades?

I think that everybody comes to the same thing ... Trench-coat, Louboutin heels, little Chenel and of course beret. And although fashion is changing, tradition and culture stay the same. That is why on the streets of Paris, we can watch young women wearing the same clothes which their mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers was wearing too. And that's what all the magic is about ... Continuing traditions. Identifying with long-ago fashion, bringing it back to life

What else?

Simplicity. Simplicity. Simplicity. Less means more. You know it?

A small wardrobe, but filled with the clothes of the biggest brands.

White ISL shirt, dark Levis jeans, Prada trench coat, small Chanel bag and leather boots. EVERYTHING!

Enough. Beautiful.

Of course, we can also find there light dress for the summer and a perfectly cut jacket.

Thick sweaters and jersey for the winter.

Hats, berets, scarves and universal neckerchief.

Maybe even find something crazy from the new season, but it will be only a few things that a Frenchwoman/man will put together with the classic ones.

And this is the definition of French fashion. No exaggeration. A bit of madness but in good style.

And even though everything may seem so perfect, it is not such perfect ... The French woman is not afraid to go out without makeup, in messy hairs and unpainted nails. Thanks to this, she looks a bit wild in the world of perfectly tailored suits. She is not trying to be perfect. She puts on ease and comfort.

Of course, it is not like the Frenchwoman don’t put on some make-up, do not care about hair and nails.

OF COURSE THEY CARE!

Just that they do not force themselves to look like on a red carpet every day. They put on a natural make-up ... fluid, mascara, nude eye-shadows, lip balm- transparent or close to the natural color of the lips. And because of this, their skin looks fresh and healthy.

As I said .. less is more!

And that's how it really is with everything. The hair will not be baked in a perfect bun, but dissolved in little mess . nails will be painted in pastel colors. Popular French manicure had to be created somewhere, right? And the name speaks for itself

Quality

As I mentioned in the French wardrobe, you will surely find something branded, and you will probably find a lot of this.

However, these will not be things with printed, huge logos of brands. This is not the point. The Frenchwoman/man simply choose quality, and the quality has its price, just like the clothes of the biggest brands. Thanks to this, her/his bag will never look damaged, coat will never be pilled and shoes will be worn off. Everything will look like new and they will buy something new in few months or even years.

And that the French girl will buy a bag for a few seasons is also very characteristic for French fashion...

Despite the fact that Paris is the fashion capital, French people don’t follow every new trend like the rest of the world. That's why they do not have to buy new clothes every summer/winter.

Frenchwoman/man know that when they buy simple, dark jeans they will be on the winning position because it will never go out of fashion. These types of clothes will last until the end of the world and one day longer. Everyone will dream about pair of Levis or Wranglers. And most importantly, everyone can set up both with a white shirt for a business meeting and with a sweatshirt for an evening walk. And this is the most important thing - to have in the closet one thing that will suit everything, which will be totally universal…

… and comfy.

Comfort

Convenience is something that the French love. They are inspired by their biggest mentor Coco Chanel who said that "fashion, in which you can not go out on the street is not fashion". There is a bit of truth. Maybe not always, but you must admit if fashion would only show on the red carpet, would it still be fashion?

That’s why, the French put on simple, comfy, tested cuts.

Women often go for ballerinas, oxfords, moccasins, boots or even classic tennis shoes instead of high heels.

Thick scarves, warm coats and a hat, beret or fur cap in the winter

Warm, practically, comfortably and stylishly. As always.

Some people may say that it is simply boring. But I don’t get it.

Despite the fact that simple cuts and subdued colors win in Paris, you can always find something that will delight you. It really can be just a beautiful coat or pants in a perfect shade of brown and maybe some accessories like a leather belt, a pattern on a scarf or petit jewellery. Whatever it will be, you will find something for yourself for sure. And this search will never be boring

In addition, you must remember that in recent years, fashion is changing like literally from month to month. Old trends are brought back to life in a new edition or a new Yeezy collection is coming out, where the Frenchwoman/man will also direct his attention. They will buy Balenciaga shoes or fancy Vetements jacket. They will look more modern, but still French. And You will definitely be able to see it. I do not know why French in off-white Jordans will look different than American, but they will be!
